Music and
Lyrics by Bill Francoeur Who can resist smiling when
thinking about the seventies?! Mood rings, Magic Eight Balls, polyester leisure suits, big hair and most important of all...
disco! Bill Francoeur's music captures the essence of this unique era perfectly to create this hilarious mini-musical
that can't be beat for fun and energy! An odd set of circumstances brings a true cross-section of Culpepper High School
students to Rita's Roller Rink, the local hangout for the kids. Everyone from the regulars to the chess club members to
school thugs Greg, Peter and Bobby, who are disguised as cheerleaders, converge right as the judges are determining if Mrs.
Flint will win Principal of the Year. Even the malicious vice-principal, who is trying to thwart Mrs. Flint's attempts
to impress the judges, couldn't have known that jewel thief Buzz and his cohort in crime Delilah, would hide a diamond
right on Rita's disco ball! Once everything is sorted out, Rita has promised the kids they can have a disco dance Friday
in honor of their school mascot... the Knight. They'll call their dance Friday Knight Fever!
